Waxing

Fed up with having to shave every few days? Waxing is a great alternative, resulting in hair free smooth skin for weeks! Hair removal is performed with a combination of different types of wax. PHD Wax in a tube is applied to the area before being removed with a paper waxing strip. This form of waxing ensures a quicker and more efficient hair removal, as well as being more hygienic with disposable applicators. The hair needs to be at least 1/4 inch long for the most effective hair removal. Hot wax is used for more sensitve areas. Hot wax is a warm wax which solidifies when applied to the skin and is removed with no need for a paper waxing strip. It is good for removing coarse hair in more sensitive areas as it is gentler to the skin. To help prevent the growth of ingrown hairs it is recommended to exfoliate the area, 1/2 days prior to waxing and a week after your treatment.
